This watercolor sketch was done at the Humboldt Bay Social Club in Samoa, CA. On our first visit to HBSC, I was immediately captivated by a tree that stood alone in distance. When we returned earlier this year, I was inspired to do this drawing. I called it “Stand Tall (No. 1)”. This little sketch is a tribute to being strong and resilient. Standing up to the elements, even when you stand alone.
