Tahoe holds a special place in the hearts of many Californians. This summer, as wildfires moved through the Sierras toward Lake Tahoe, I did several Tahoe-inspired drawings, including one that I called, Love Runs Deep. I started drawing a map-like view of the lake and noticed the heart-shaped shoreline at the northern part of Lake Tahoe and I just ran wild.
